How the beta works

Made by someone who’s worked the counter

I’ve worked in hospitality for more than 20 years. Tilliver started as the till for a working café, and it still runs that counter every day.

Every feature in it started as something the counter needed. We’re now opening it up to a small group of independent cafés.

What it does

The whole shop, in one book.

  1. One system for the whole shop.

The till, kitchen screens, stock, rota and timecards, loyalty and gift cards all work together, so you’re not juggling four apps that don’t talk to each other.

  2. Know what to order before you run out.

Stock comes off as you sell. Tilliver tells you what’s running low and puts together your shopping list.

  3. VAT, allergens and tips, handled.

Tap eat in or takeaway and the till charges the right VAT on cold food. Every item carries its 14 allergens, and Tilliver prints full-ingredient labels for food you pack yourself. Tips follow a written tips policy, as the law has required since 2024, and Tilliver keeps a record of every one.

  4. Your café, your look.

Your logo and colours appear on the till, the customer screen and your loyalty cards.

  5. Leave whenever you like, and take everything with you.

Tilliver works with a standard SumUp card reader, so there’s no terminal to rent. Billing is monthly with no contract, and you can download all of your data whenever you want.

The closed beta

We’re inviting a small number of independent UK cafés to use Tilliver before it goes on sale to everyone.

We help every café move over ourselves, which is why the number is small.

You don’t have to stay when the beta ends. If you do, it’s from £59 a month, with no VAT on top and no contract.

We’ll confirm your exact price well before the beta ends, so you can decide with the numbers in front of you.
